In order to further regulate the supervision of inbound and outbound personal postal articles and take care of the reasonable needs of the addressee and sender, the following issues are hereby announced as follows:

First, the individual mail articles imported goods, customs import duties levied in accordance with the law, but the application for import tax amount of 50 yuan (including 50 yuan) less than, the customs shall be exempted.

Two, personal send or send to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan area of goods, each limit is 800 yuan; send or send to other countries and regions of the goods, each time limit is 1000 yuan rmb.

Three, the individual mail incoming and outbound goods beyond the prescribed limit, shall apply for refund procedures, or in accordance with the provisions of the goods for customs clearance procedures. However, if there is only one item in the parcel and indivisible, if it is beyond the prescribed limits, it shall be carried out by the Customs for personal use, and the customs formalities may be carried out in accordance with the provisions of individual articles.

Four, postal commercial mail import and export, customs clearance procedures in accordance with the provisions of goods.

Five, the content of this announcement since September 1, 2010. The original notice of the General Administration of Customs on adjusting the limits and allowances for personal belongings in inbound and outbound mail (Office Supervisor [1994] No. 774) was abolished at the same time.
